The purpose of the Orpheum STAR Council is to provide students the opportunity to volunteer and gain a knowledge of the Orpheum Theatre and The Halloran Centre and what it takes to operate these facilities while volunteering at various events throughout the year. Members will be expected to communicate regularly with staff of the Education Department and will also be expected to share information about programs and events at the Orpheum and Halloran Centre with their schools and communities.
High school students, grades 9-12, are invited to apply. STAR Council members volunteer for the Orpheum Theatre Group events throughout the year and serve as ambassadors for the Orpheum High School Musical Theatre Awards.
