FRIENDS OF THE ORPHEUM VOLUNTEERS
Friends of the Orpheum is a not-for-profit civic organization that coordinates volunteer support for the Orpheum Theatre Group.
Become a Friend of the Orpheum (FOTO) and join a group of dedicated supporters who have given the gift of time for more than 40 years. As volunteer greeters, ushers, ticket takers, and tour guides, FOTO members are an integral part of our team. FOTO provides quality customer service to ensure patrons’ experiences are positive and memorable.
In 2017, FOTO was recognized by the Broadway League, the presenter of the Tony Awards, with a Star of Touring Broadway Award.
Friends of the Orpheum Cookbook
For nearly 40 years, our FOTO (Friends of the Orpheum) volunteer ushers have welcomed the cast and crew of Broadway touring productions with a homecooked meal. This tradition of hospitality has made Memphis and the Orpheum among the most anticipated stops on tour.

The Cast Party: A Collection of Recipes by the Friends of the Orpheum includes the most celebrated dishes FOTO has to offer, as well as guest recipes from friends we’ve made along the way. Savor the comforting cuisine our stars have enjoyed for decades — there’s a story behind every bite!
Proceeds support the Orpheum Theatre Group’s education and community programs.
