2024 Musical Theatre Intensive has ended. Thank you to all the campers who joined us! Please check back in the Spring for 2025 dates and registration.
Take your skill to the next level this summer and train with Broadway performers and professional teaching artists! The Musical Theatre Intensive is a new two-week program that provides foundational training for those considering auditioning for college theatre programs or pursuing careers in musical theatre. With audition preparation, classes, and rehearsals, our teaching artists will inspire future performers and build their confidence alongside Broadway artists, Melissa VanPelt and Randy Redd.
Students will be divided into small ensembles based on their audition so our teaching artists can adapt instruction that meets students where they are and provides additional challenges for students with previous experience. From Shakespeare to Slapstick, students will perform scenes, songs, and choreography from the classic musical, Kiss Me, Kate, culminating in a public performance on the final afternoon of the session.
